Corner Icon  The Community Appearance Board is Myrtle Beach's board of architectural review.  It consists of nine members appointed to four year terms by City Council.  At least five members must be residents of the city.  The Construction Services Department provides staff assistance to the CAB.


Blue Box  This committee is composed of staff members who review plans submitted for the next Community Appearance Board meeting.  They check to see whether the plans are complete and meet all technical requirements.

2.   Holiday Shores Motel – 7501 North Ocean Boulevard:  Requests a conceptual / final review for a 4’ tall white aluminum pool fence. (Goode Fence)

 

3.   Kentucky Fried Chicken – 6100 North Kings Highway:  Requests a conceptual / final review for the repainting of the building. (Owner)

 

4.   Charlie’s Place (Phase I) – 1420 Carver Street:  Requests a conceptual / final review  for the renovation of the 1,264 square foot historic office, replace existing 240 square foot porch, add 640 square feet for restrooms, and add a 227 square foot porch. (Carter Architecture)
