not include a Social Security, driver's license, state identification,
passport, checking account, savings account, credit card, or debit card
number, or personal identification (PIN) code, or passwords in the
document, unless expressly required by law. An individual has a
right to request a register of deeds or clerk of court to remove, from
an image or copy of an official record place on a publicly available
Internet web site or on a publicly available Internet web site used by a
register of deeds or clerk of court to display public records, any
social security, driver's license, state identification, passport,

personal identification (PIN) code, or passwords contained in an
official record. The request must be made in writing and delivered
by mail, facsimile, or electronic transmission or in person, to the
register of deeds or clerk of court. The request must specify the

account, credit card, or debit card number, or personal identification
(PIN) code, or passwords to be redacted. There is no fee for the

The Myrtle Beach Municipal Court is responsible for adjudicating criminal misdemeanor offenses
involving city ordinances and state statutes. This includes traffic
offenses and property crimes involving $1,000 or less. You may
call the Clerk of Court's Office at 843-918-1356.
July 1, 2017, the Clerk of
Court's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday,
and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. The Clerk of
is closed during city-observed holidays. Jennifer Wilson is the

Court Division also employs five ministerial recorders, one court
clerk, one administrative secretary, and one bailiff. The two clerks of
courts and the administrative secretary double as ministerial recorders,
for a total of eight ministerial recorders.
