Registration for South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale begins promptly at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 13. On-Line Registration is available for review, but you cannot commit to rent a space until August 13. Due to increased costs for the use of the parking garage, the price for vendor spaces has increased slightly. First floor spaces are $65, second floor spaces are $55, third floor spaces are $40 and fourth floor spaces remain at $25. Of course, admission to the biggest garage sale in the state is free for all bargain hunters! Nearly 400 vendors will be on hand offering one of just about every item ever created. Come browse four floors of treasures awaiting new homes. Gates open promptly at 7:00 a.m., with the sale ending at 12:00 p.m. If you are one of those vendors, here are the rules and regulations to follow. Please be aware that parking meters in the downtown area are enforced through September 15. Convenient metered parking is available for sale-goers, or free public parking is available west of Kings Highway. Look on Broadway Street and in parking lots at Myrtle’s Market, the Myrtle Beach City Hall, the Myrtle Beach Train Depot and the surrounding areas for free parking. Note that a yellow-painted curb signifies “no parking,” which also will be enforced.
