The Mayor’s Cup Championship Tournament is a 54-hole stroke play event, one for men and one for women, at Whispering Pines Golf Course.  The men’s tournament is October 9-11, while the women’s is October 30-November 21.  After the first two days, the final day is flighted according to score, with the best individual score determining the winners.  Here are the registration forms...

The men’s tournament is open to all male golfers, 18 and up, and is limited to the first 144 paid entries.  A senior division is offered for men age 50 to 64 and a super senior division is offered for ages 65 and older. The women’s tournament is open to all female golfers, 18 and up, and is limited to the first 136 paid entries.  A senior division is offered for women age 50 to 64 and a super senior division for ages 65 and older. 

City residency is not required.  Registration is just $150 and includes tournament course fees, range balls, lunch each day and a contestant's package.  Trophies and prizes will be awarded.  Entry forms also are available at Whispering Pines Golf Course or by calling 918-2305.  The Mayor's Cup began in 2006.
