     Beginning in July, Myrtle's Market returns to its three-day-a-week schedule!  Through June, the market has been open two days a week, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  However, Saturday hours return on July 4 and for the rest of the year.  Here's a quick list of what's typically available, when in season...

  • beans, beets, cabbage, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, turnip greens, lettuce, okra, onions, peanuts, bell peppers, potatoes, summer squash, tomatoes, turnips, zucchini, apples, cantaloupe, peaches, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, flounder, shrimp, goat cheese, carrot cake, annuals, perennials, bedding plants, barbeque sauces, maple syrup, honey, jams and jellies, molasses and homemade products

     The market features fresh fruits and vegetables, including seasonal favorites such as strawberries, and more.  Additional vendors are welcome.  Call 457-5618 to inquire. The market is on Mr. Joe White Avenue at Oak Street.

 

     Come sit at one of our picnic benches and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere at Myrtle's Market.  Then take your time shopping from the friendly and helpful vendors.  Plenty of parking is available, so come enjoy the sights, tastes, scents and flavors of Myrtle's Market.
