Myrtle Beach City Council provides funding for 30 arts, cultural, sporting or tourism events totaling $747,150

During Tuesday’s City Council meeting, the following groups received grants from the city’s Accommodations Tax (ATAX) revenues. The Accommodations Tax is a two percent state tax charged on transient accommodations. Among other uses outlined by the state, ATAX money can support local cultural, arts and tourism organizations.
