Corner Icon Pet cemetery... Beloved pets now have a permanent resting place at Ocean Woods Cemetery.  Dogs, cats, birds and other small animals are welcome.  Two plot sizes are available.  A two-by-two foot plot is $480, while a larger two-by-four foot plot is $540.  Both include continuing care.  For more information about interring a family pet, call the Ocean Woods staff at 918-2251.

The City of Myrtle Beach owns and operates Ocean Woods Cemetery on South Kings Highway, near Harrelson Boulevard.  The cemetery covers 20 acres and has nearly 6,000 graves, the oldest of which dates to 1879. 

Currently, Ocean Woods Cemetery has approximately 700 available grave sites.  New plots are $1,250 each, plus a one-time charge of $250 for continuing care.  Columbarium locations are available, too, for just $1,200. Entrance to Ocean Woods Cemetery on Kings Highway Permanent resting places for beloved pets also are available at Ocean Woods. 

The gates at Ocean Woods Cemetery open to the public daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  For more information, contact Cemetery Manager Ricky West at 843-918-2251.
