The Police Department's Investigative Division is home for our Investigations Section, Narcotics/Vice Section, Gang Enforcement Unit and our Crime Scene Section. The Investigations Section is responsible for the continuing investigation of criminal acts committed in the city. Our Narcotics/Vice Section is responsible for conducting sophisticated undercover operations into organized narcotics trafficking, vice crimes, racketeering, money laundering and street level drug sales. The Crime Scene Section responds to a wide range of crimes where special knowledge and experience in locating and preserving important evidence is required.
