Youngsters had a great time last weekend at the Back to School Block Party at Canal Street Recreation Center. From 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., they enjoyed swimming and scuba diving in the pool, playing kickball and games in the gym, posing for pictures in presidential cutouts and playing outside on climbing and bouncing equipment. Refreshments were provided. Classes resumed Monday at Myrtle Beach schools, so this was their last summer get-together.
