Citizens Fire Academy
In 2019, the Myrtle Beach Fire Department proudly announces the inaugural Citizens Fire Academy, a program that allows participants an in-depth, behind the scenes look at the City of Myrtle Beach's outstanding fire and rescue team. The 10-week program is set for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, February 27-May 1.
The application submission period is January 10-February 1. Applications will be processed in the order received. Applicants must be 18 years of age, or older, and must be city residents or Horry County residents to be considered. Applicants undergo a criminal history background check and must provide a copy of photographic identification.
