Photos of the Week

Myrtle Beach’s Nance Plaza has been undergoing a makeover in recent months.  On January 29, volunteers from the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors (CCAR) and city staff members planted dozens of bushes and grasses as part of the new landscaping.  When complete, the new plaza will feature turf grass, for a more playful and durable look, as well as an outdoor stage for live music.  The additional landscaping was funded by a $4,500 Placemaking Grant from the National Association of Realtors.  Once work is complete in a couple of weeks, construction fencing will be removed, and Nance Plaza will shine in the new Arts & Innovation District.
