Thanks to a grant from T-Mobile, Myrtle Beach’s Bathsheba Bowens Park has new signs identifying indigenous trees and other local features.  Last fall, T-Mobile provided a $9,700 Hometown Community Grant to replace two dozen signs that were initially provided by a TD Bank grant years ago.  The park is named in memory of Bathsheba Bowens, a young Myrtle Beach resident who died suddenly at age 16.  City staff member Richard Newell installed the signs this week.
