The sixth annual Food Drive Craft Fair drew more than 2,000 shoppers to the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center. Admission was an item of non-perishable food, and people responded with more than 6,000 pounds of donations, all for the Lowcountry Food Bank. Dozens of crafters and artists filled the center with their handmade and homespun items. The show was created by one of our snowbirds, who has since handed it off to a local couple to continue the success. Look for the seventh annual event next February.
