Dozens of volunteers packed boxes of food this week at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, all part of a massive food distribution effort to help families affected by COVID-19 closings.  The United Way of Horry County, Impact Ministries and other partners donated the food and organized this second distribution.  More than 500 families benefitted from the event, with each car receiving two boxes of food.  Special thanks to US Foods, A+A Produce and others who donated items for the giveaway.  The line of cars stretch around the Convention Center and out onto Oak Street and 21st Avenue North.
