For the fourth year in a row, Myrtle Beach’s Parks Division has installed hanging flower baskets along Ocean Boulevard and in Plyler Park. In all, 120 baskets were recently placed between 21st Avenue North and Third Avenue South. City staff spent a day on the project. As you can see from these photos, the baskets provide additional color to the pedestrian areas and create a welcoming sight. Where possible, drip irrigation keeps the flowers watered. In other locations, staff will water the baskets as needed.
