Savannah’s Playground is growing!  Phase Two recently opened to the public, with dedication ceremonies set for Wednesday, September 11.  The $400,000-plus addition includes a fence around the pond and a fence around the whole playground.  Savannah’s Playground is named for Savannah Thompson.  Former Myrtle Beach Mayor John Rhodes envisioned the enabling playground and helped bring it to life next to Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium at The Market Common.
