Photos of the Week

Myrtle Beach’s Neighborhood Services Department hosted the second annual Community Tree Lighting at the Garden of Hope on Carver Street on November 30.  The evening included beautiful singing by Vocal Edition, Santa’s arrival on a big red sleigh (courtesy of the Fire Department) and the tree lighting.  Ornaments were decorated by neighborhood children, and Santa listened carefully to Christmas wishes.  The lighted tree was presented in memory of Julia Spadoni, Mayor Brenda Bethune’s mother, who passed away earlier this year.  Everyone had a wonderful time!
