Remember to complete your 2020 Census form

Myrtle Beach’s Census response is improving slowly, but we are still well behind the rest of the state! As the graphic shows, our local Census response rate is just 37.7 percent. That's up from 37.2, in May, but still very low. The rest of South Carolina is far ahead of Myrtle Beach. Take a few minutes to dig up your Census mailing. Then, go to the computer, find the website, enter your code and complete the process. It’s very quick, and an accurate count will help our area immensely for the next 10 years. If you didn’t get a census card in the mail, you can still complete your form by going to https://my2020census.gov/. Not computer savvy? Fill out the form over the phone by calling 1-844-330-2020.
