Historical markers in The Market Common will be replaced thanks to a grant from the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base Redevelopment Authority
Thanks to a grant from the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base Redevelopment Authority, the city will be replacing these historical marker sign faces throughout the Market Common area. Some of the signs have not withstood the elements very well. They will be replaced with a new, high pressure laminate with a 10-year warranty. The MBAFB Redevelopment Authority is generously providing $12,332 for the replacements. Look for the work to occur in early 2021.
