State law: No golf carts after dusk

Attention, Myrtle Beach! State law says… No golf carts after dusk, and no golf carts on primary highways or any road where the speed limit is greater than 35 miles per hour.

Now that Daylight Saving Time has ended, dusk is coming much sooner, so golf carts need to be off the streets sooner. Golf carts are not allowed on Kings Highway (see violations in these two photos), Grissom Parkway, Harrelson Boulevard or any other road where the speed limit is more than 35 m.p.h.
