New plaques at the Wall of Service at Warbird Park

Check out these new plaques at the Wall of Service at Myrtle Beach’s Warbird Park. The wall and the park remember the history of the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, which closed in 1993. Military and civilian personnel who served at the base may have their names and dates listed on the Wall of Service. Eagle Scout Cole Smith provided an easy-to-use online look-up system to find a name by column and row, along with links to videos about the people, places and planes of the former Air Force Base.
