Myrtle Beach celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday, January 18. City offices and facilities will be closed that day to observe the holiday. However, residential solid waste and recycling will be collected on the usual Monday-through-Thursday schedule during the week of January 18-22. Note that no services will be offered on Friday, January 22.
