Myrtle Beach’s sports tourism calendar is busy. Sports on the list below include track-and-field, volleyball, softball, cheerleading, basketball, wrestling, dance and soccer – all during the month of April. Note also that the Myrtle Beach Marathon has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 1. Social distancing and other safety protocols will be in effect at the city’s facilities for these events.

• April 2-3 Beach Run Invitational, high school track-and-field at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium (300-plus athletes expected)
• April 3-4 Myrtle Madness girls’ volleyball tournament at the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center (89 teams expected)
• April 3 Freedom Sports Easter One-Day Adult Softball tournament at the Grand Park Athletic Complex (20 teams expected)
• April 10-11 All Star Challenge Cheer at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center
• April 10-11 Big Shots boys’ basketball tournament at the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center
• April 10-11 USSSA Eddie O’Bunn adult softball tournament at the Grand Park Athletic Complex (60-plus teams expected)
• April 10-11 PGF girls’ softball tournament at the Ned Donkle Field Complex
• April 16-18 Atlantic Coast Champions wrestling tournament at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center
• April 17 Eastern Cheer & Dance at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center
• April 16-18 NTBA boys’ basketball tournament at the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center
• April 17-18 Coast FA Spring Classic #1 youth soccer tournament at the Grand Park Athletic Complex
• April 24-25 Coast FA Spring Classic #2 youth soccer tournament at the Grand Park Athletic Complex
• May 1 Myrtle Beach Marathon (rescheduled date, with 3,000-plus participants expected)
