Come out and meet former professional baseball player, Orlando Hudson

Would you like to me a former professional baseball player? You’ll have the chance to meet Orlando Hudson 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 27, at the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center, 800 Gabreski Lane. Hudson will be on hand to discuss how to get recruited for baseball teams, sportsmanship, the process of evaluating young athletes and provide some insight about his app, “Signing Day Sports.”

The app is designed to help student-athletes attract colleges or professional scouts. You’ll also have the opportunity to get Hudson’s autograph and take pictures with the former major league baseball player. The Darlington, South Carolina native played in the Major League for 10 years from 2002 to 2012. He won four gold gloves and is a two-time all-star. Since retiring, he has been employed by the Arizona Diamondbacks as a Special Assistant to the General Manager.
