The World Amateur Golf Championship is in Myrtle Beach

Did you know that 3,510 golfers are in Myrtle Beach this week for the PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.Com World Amateur Handicap Championship?  This year’s players come from all 50 states, even Alaska and Hawaii, with the largest number from Florida (371).  They will play rounds on 56 local golf courses, taking an estimated 1,245,851 strokes and making a projected 11 holes-in-one during the week-long tournament.  Here’s a photo of the 19th Hole at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.  This is the World Am’s largest participation in 13 years.  For more, visit https://www.playgolfmyrtlebeach.com.
