The City of Myrtle Beach created a cross country course

Did you know…  That the City of Myrtle Beach has created a cross country course for Myrtle Beach High School adjacent to the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center?  The course will be used for a cross country track meet at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 15.  Host team Myrtle Beach will welcome Carolina Forest, North Myrtle Beach, St. James and Socastee High Schools, along with Myrtle Beach Christian Academy.  The meet will include an individual 2K and a five-team 5K.  The cross country course was created and maintained by city staff members Jeff Jacobs and Tod O’Briant on available city property.
