Myrtle Beach Juneteenth celebrations planned for this weekend

Everyone is invited to be part of the fun and celebrate UNITY in Myrtle Beach this weekend!

The City of Myrtle Beach’s annual Juneteenth Celebration is this Saturday, June 18. This year’s event kicks off with a special Unity March. Participants will meet between the Myrtle Beach Train Depot, 851 Broadway Street, and the City Services Building, 921 North Oak Street. At 10:00 a.m., marchers will walk together to the Juneteenth festivities’ site, 1420 Carver Street. All are invited to attend and celebrate African American history at the Juneteenth Celebration at Charlie’s Place, with activities beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event includes a Gullah Gee Chee presentation, live entertainment, vendors, delicious food and fun for all.
