First Responders compete in charitable softball game this Saturday

Come watch Myrtle Beach Police and Fire Departments, Horry County Police and Fire Departments, South Carolina Highway Patrol, Murrells Inlet Garden City Professional Fire Department and North Myrtle Beach Police and Fire Departments battle is out for a good cause this Saturday, November 12! The first responders will compete in an all-day charitable softball tournament at Pelicans Stadium, benefitting SOS Care's Project Lifesaver Program for Horry County. 
 
The softball games begin at 10:00 a.m., this Saturday, November 12. Project Lifesaver helps families keep at-risk loved ones safe who have tendencies to wander. They're provided a GPS bracelet through the program. Many people provided a bracelet through Project Lifesaver are people with disorders including but not limited to Autism, Alzheimer's Disease and Down Syndrome.
 
Gates open at 9:00 a.m. The entry fee is a $5 donation. There will be food, raffle prizes and more during this family fun event! Myrtle Beach Pelicans Stadium is located at 1251 21st Avenue North. Parking is free.
