New downtown mural to be painted by City staffers this week
Myrtle Beach city staffers will take brush in hand Tuesday, November 29, to paint a mural at 517 Ninth Avenue North. As shown in this illustration, the mural will be the Arts & Innovation District logo, painted on a corner of the city’s Downtown Development Office building. The mural site is on the interior, parking side of the property. Painting is expected to begin around 9:00 a.m. and continue until about 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
