Tree lighting at Winter Wonderland at the Beach scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 1

Please join us for the Winter Wonderland Tree Lighting and Art Walk at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk at Ninth Avenue North. Come join in the countdown as the 70-foot-tall Winter Wonderland tree is lighted for the first time this season. Afterward, take a stroll south along the boardwalk to the Second Avenue Pier to see more than 100,000 lights along the beach. The free Winter Wonderland holiday lights are on display nightly from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. For this special evening only, works of art from local artists will be on display. The Seacoast Artist Guild Art Walk will appear at the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Avenue North street ends. The Family Fun Zone is open Thursdays through Sunday, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., through December 23 with giant inflatables, curling, artificial snow, S’mores roasting and more. For Thursday, December 1 only, the Family Fun Zone will be free to experience! On all other nights, wristbands are just $5 through the Yodel App. A holiday marketplace featuring local vendors and musical entertainment is available at Plyer Park four days a week, Thursday through Sunday, through December 23. Take the trolley! The free Coast RTA Holly Trolley is available to shuttle festivalgoers around Winter Wonderland and downtown Myrtle Beach locations with seven stops.
