Myrtle Beach leaders invite public to grand opening of new dog park on Monday, Dec. 12

DECEMBER 8, 2022

Dog park patrons... Mark your calendars for Monday! Everyone is invited to bring their four-legged friends to the grand opening of New Town Bark Park at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 12. The City of Myrtle Beach is hosting a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the completion of New Town Bark Park, our third off-leash park, with big dog and small dog areas.
This project, plus the new disc golf course at Withers Swash Park, are part of the city’s vision to bring new activities for neighbors and families to Withers Swash Park. The dog park also provides a centralized place for residents to bring their dogs. Myrtle Beach has two other Bark Parks on the north and south ends of the city. Join us for dog treat goodies and fun as we open the dog park gates for the first time at the large dog park, 200 Collins Street. The small dog park gates will open, too. See you there!
