Myrtle Beach Marathon returns this Saturday, March 4
The Myrtle Beach Marathon kicks off at 7:00 a.m., this Saturday, March 4, on Grissom Parkway near the Pelicans’ stadium and travels 26.2 miles through the city. Drivers! Be sure to plan ahead, leave extra time to get to your destination and share the road with runners. Expect congestion and delays between 4:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., especially along Kings Highway, Ocean Boulevard, Farrow Parkway and Grissom Parkway. Go west to US 17 (the “bypass”) for northbound and southbound travel. If you are staying on Ocean Boulevard, be sure to park on the west side of the street Friday night, so that you can get out and about during the marathon on Saturday.
