Converted box car and caboose are almost ready for  use

The converted boxcar and caboose are nearly ready to provide more space at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot. The boxcar has been turned into a meeting space to compliment the adjacent depot. Built in 1936, the Train Depot is on the National Register of Historic Places and can't be altered, so why not use rail cars to create extra space for all of the meetings, events, parties and receptions? A few finishing touches remain, such as a large-screen monitor and some historic photos, but we think you'll agree that the boxcar exceeds our expectations! Great job, all.
