Myrtle Beach City Council approves 10-year extension for Atlantic Golf Management

Whispering Pines Golf Course is a handy gem right in the heart of the city, across Harrelson Boulevard from Myrtle Beach International Airport. The 18-hole course originally was part of the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, but the city acquired it when the base closed in 1993. Local residents can play Whispering Pines for just $32 per round, including cart. Atlantic Golf Management has operated the course for the last five years under contract with the city, and City Council just approved a 10-year extension of that agreement.
