Myrtle Beach supports arts and tourism-related events and festivals with $760,000 in state ATax funding for local organizations

City Council accepted the recommendations of the Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee and approved the following grants for local organizations. The City of Myrtle Beach also received more than $6 million for public safety programs, water quality monitoring, Convention Center marketing, beach renourishment debt service and debt service on the Fourth Avenue North deepwater ocean outfall.
