Myrtle Beach High School Naval Junior ROTC earns overall top honors at the Horry County Junior ROTC Drill Meet

Congratulations to the Myrtle Beach High School Naval Junior ROTC team, pictured here, for claiming overall top honors at the fourth annual Horry County Junior ROTC Drill Meet. The event was held Saturday at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans' parking area. Seven high school JROTC teams competed. Conway High School placed second overall, followed by North Myrtle Beach High School in third overall. Drill events included color guard, unarmed squad, freshman squad, unarmed platoon, armed platoon, armed squad and individual knockouts in armed and unarmed. The drill meet kicks off Military Appreciation Days along the Grand Strand.
