Ocean Outfall Maintenance happening now in Myrtle Beach

Salmons Dredging Corporation will begin mobilizing a specialized jackup rig from North Charleston along the Myrtle Beach coastline. The conducts maintenance activities on our four deepwater ocean outfalls: 25th Avenue South, Fourth Avenue North, 14th Avenue North and 53rd Avenue North.

The rig is currently located at 25th Avenue South. Funding for this million-dollar maintenance project is coming from the state of South Carolina. The work will begin at 25th Avenue South and move northward. The jackup rig is self-elevating to provide a stable operating environment in the ocean.
