Myrtle Beach Fire Marshal Joe Murrell is retiring after 26 years of service
Myrtle Beach Fire Marshal Joe Murrell is retiring after 26 years of service to the city. Murrell was recognized by the Fire Department during the recent graduation ceremonies for Recruit Class 31. He’ll be replaced as fire marshal by Jim Clement, another longtime staff member, beginning July 5. Congratulations and best wishes to Joe Murrell upon his retirement.
