A "Furricane Party," the Grand Strand's Largest Pet Adoption event, is set for Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18

Grand Strand animal shelters join together to present a “Furricane Party,” the area’s largest pet adoption event, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18. The event takes place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 North Oak Street. The family-friendly, fun event features hundreds of furry, adoptable animals alongside local vendors. Participating shelters include: Grand Strand Humane Society (Myrtle Beach), Saint Frances Animal Shelter (Georgetown), The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, All 4 Paws Animal Rescue (Pawleys Island), Safe Haven 4 Cats (North Myrtle Beach), Horry County Animal Care Center (Conway) and Kind Keeper No-Kill Animal Rescue (North Myrtle Beach).
