Building permit fees waived for repairs related to damage from Hurricane Dorian

The City of Myrtle Beach will waive building permit fees for repairs related to damage from Hurricane Dorian. City Manager John Pedersen signed the executive order shown here this morning. The waiver is good through Tuesday, September 10, for repairs to residential, commercial or institutional properties for damages caused by the storm. City Council will consider whether to extend the waiver during its Tuesday meeting.
