New outdoor shower decking provides better drainage and traction

Myrtle Beach’s Public Works staff just installed this new “Titan Decking” on the shower pan at the 50th Avenue North beach access.  The city has outdoor showers and foot washes at most of the public beach accesses.  Sand can get stuck between the boards, preventing proper drainage, so the city will start using this new deck product when it rebuilds the dune crossovers and beach access points.  This textured, flow-through decking will be the new standard for the shower towers.
