New beach app available to answer beach related questions

Myrtle Beach has a new “beach app” for your mobile phone to help answer your beach-related questions. It includes a map of the coast to pinpoint your location, a live cam from Pier 14, the current weather report, the current surf conditions, tide times, a beach safety video from the Fire Department, our beach rules and safety tips, rip current information, safe tanning tips and a list of things to do in Myrtle Beach. More items will be added, including water quality information during the swimming season.
