Solid Waste Collection Change beginning the week of February 10

Some 425 Myrtle Beach customers soon will switch from Monday to Tuesday as their solid waste and recycling collection day. The change will take effect the week of February 10. Residents north of 17th Avenue South who currently receive solid waste service on Monday will become Tuesday customers beginning that week. The affected area is shown in the green shaded portion of the attached map. The change (moving 425 residential customers from Monday’s route to Tuesday’s route) will better balance the workload for our Solid Waste staff. If you are affected by this change, look for a hang tag with details to be placed on your pelican in coming weeks.
