The paid parking season returns one month from today on March 1, and the season continues through October 31

The residential parking decals are valid through December 2020 and the decals are tied to where the car “lives.” Personal use vehicles that are registered inside the city limits and on which city property taxes have been paid are eligible for the decals.

To verify if you live in the city, check your property tax bill. City residents pay both City of Myrtle Beach and Horry County taxes, whereas non-city residents pay only county taxes. Note that non-city residents have “Myrtle Beach” listed as their physical address, but live beyond the city limits and do not pay city taxes on property.
