African-American history is on display at the Myrtle Beach Colored School Museum and Education Center

African-American history is on display at the Myrtle Beach Colored School Museum and Education Center, and that's the subject of our latest blog post at Myrtle Beach Point of View. Visit https://myrtlebeachpointofview.wordpress.com/2020/02/04/african-american-history-on-display-in-myrtle-beach/ to read the full story. The exhibit fills one of the schoolrooms and chronicles the contributions of African-Americans through the years in science, medicine, arts, music, literature, education, politics, sports and more. The display includes numerous inventions and improvements that African-Americans developed, from the stoplight to the golf tee. The museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Admission is free.
