Just a reminder not to flush any wipes down your pipes! With more people staying home and a shortage of standard toilet paper, please don’t flush any alternatives you might be using. Toilet paper is designed to tear apart and move easily through the sewer system, but other items aren’t. So-called “flushable wipes” can cause expensive repairs to your home’s plumbing when they cause a clog, as well as to the city’s and Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority’s pumps and systems. Stick to the three “Ps” for flushing, please!
