Expansion of Myrtle Beach's Valor Memorial Garden is underway
If you’ve driven along Howard Avenue at The Market Common, you’ve noticed a change to Valor Memorial Garden, as shown in the attached photo. The Parks Division staff has removed plantings that really grew too fast and too tall for the location. They will replace those plants with a few trees, some flowers and more grass. It will... add some functional space to the garden, plus be easier to maintain. The work will be finished in a few weeks. Ultimately, the city plans to add a public restroom to Valor Memorial Garden, although the timing hasn’t been established.
