Myrtle Beach allows outdoor options for restaurants and a day earlier for new reservations... Myrtle Beach City Manager John Pedersen issued amended Emergency Orders 1A and 8A.
In light of Governor McMaster’s recent decision allowing outdoor seating at restaurants, subject to certain rules, the city’s amended Emergency Order 1A allows restaurants to use up to 25 percent of their required parking for outdoor dining. Please see the full order for details, as it includes other requirements for restaurants related to this new permission.
In Emergency Order 8A, the ending window for the “soft opening date” has been changed to Thursday, May 14. It previously was Friday, May 15. This shaves one day off the period when “no new reservations” may be accepted. Here are links to both orders:
