Pay attention to golf cart rules and regulations
Golf carts are not allowed on Kings Highway, and other golf cart rules… Here’s a reminder that the state regulates how golf carts may be driven on public streets. Rules include that you must have a permit from the SC DMV, as well as liability insurance. Golf carts can only be driven during daylight hours by licensed drivers, and only on secondary roads where the speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less. Golf carts also may go no more than four miles from the registered address. For more information, please see https://www.cityofmyrtlebeach.com/i_want_to/learn_about/golf_cart_laws.php.
