You can vote absentee in the November 3 General Election

Any registered voter in South Carolina can vote by absentee ballot in the upcoming November 3 general election. Governor Henry McMaster this month signed a “no excuse” COVID-19 absentee ballot bill into law. It allows all South Carolina voters to cast an absentee ballot without a specific reason. Absentee ballot applications must be received by county voting offices by 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, if sent by mail, and by 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, if applications are hand-delivered. A witness signature is required. To request an absentee ballot and learn more about voting this fall, visit https://www.scvotes.gov/absentee-voting.
